Activate User

Activation will restore the user account and the license will be consumed, i.e., the user can log in to the platform and access the content once the account is "activated."

  • Publisher can activate accounts for archived school/district admins, teachers and students. 
  • District Admin can activate accounts for archived school admins, teachers, and students. 
  • School Admin can activate accounts for archived teachers and students. 
  • Teachers can activate accounts for archived students.

Follow the below steps to activate an archived user:

1. Log in to the portal.

2. Click "Archived User" on the left-hand side menu. 

You will be redirected to the "Archived Users" page.

3. You can filter the archived user by selecting the user's role from the drop-down menu.

Accounts for the below roles can be activated: 

  • School/District Admin
  • Teacher
  • Student

4. Once the User Role is selected, you will see the list of archived (deactivated) users. 

5. Click the "Activate" button to change the status of the deactivated user. 

Once the account status is activated, the user's name will be automatically removed from the Archived User List and moved back to the respective User List. 

Note:"Deactivation" frees the license associated with the user, which can then be used to roster new users on the portal. Therefore, a deactivated user can only be activated if the school/district has a sufficient number of licenses available.
