Create District License

A publisher creates the PO (license) for a district and assigns the license to the district admin.
The license creation and distribution workflow in a school district:
- Publisher creates the license for the District and assigns it to the district admin.
Follow the below steps to create a license for a district:
1. Log in to the portal.
2. Click "License" on the left-hand side menu.
3. Click "Create License" in the sub-menu.
You will be redirected to the "Create License" page.
4. Fill in the below information on the "Create License" page.
- Type in a purchase order (PO) number (should be unique and a minimum of 6 characters).
- Select the "School District" radio button to create a district license.
- Select the school district from the drop-down list.
- All the district admin are checked by default. It is mandatory to assign the license to the primary admin. However, you can change the primary admin by clicking on the row in the district admin list.
5. Click "Next." You will be redirected to the below screen.
6. Check the checkbox on the content that you want to add to the license. You can select content based on:
- Collection,
- Reading level, or
- Content type
7. Click "Next." You will be redirected to the below screen.
8. You can select any one type of license - device license, user license, and domain license.
Click on "User," "Device" or "Domain" to make your selection of the type of license. (In the above screenshot "Device" type license has been selected).
9. Enter the "Number of Licenses".
10. Enter "Restriction on the number of login IDs".
11. Set the "License Validity", using the start date and expiry date or duration.
12. Click "Next." You will be redirected to the below screen.
13. Enter the license price value in the box.
14. Click "Confirm Order."
15. Click the checkbox next to “Would you like to mail this information to the customer” if you wish to send the license information by mail to the district admin (only primary admin).
16. Click the "OK" button.
The district license will be created and you can find the new license and its details on the "Manage License" page.
