Create User-Based License

Publishers manage the license distribution in schools and school districts. They can create the school/district license and further assign it to the school/district admin. Click here to learn more about the user-based license.
Follow the below steps to create a user-based license:
1. Log in to the portal.
2. Select "License" on the left-hand side menu.
3. Select "Create License" in the sub-menu.
You will be redirected to the "Create License" page.
4. Fill in the below information on the Create License page.
- Type in a Purchase Order Number (which should be minimum of 6 characters).
- Select the school radio button to create the school license (or click the school district radio button to create a district license).
- Select the school from the drop-down list.
- Select the school admin's email from the drop-down list.
- You can click the checkbox to auto-assign license to school admins, teachers, newly added and existing students. (optional)
5.Click "Next." You will be redirected to the below screen.
6. Check the checkbox on the content that you want to add to the license. You can select content based on:
- Collection,
- Reading Level, or
- Content Type
7. Click "Next." You will be redirected to the below screen.
8. You can select any one type of license - Device-based license, User-based license, and Domain-based license.
- Click on the user to make your selection for the user-based license.
9. Enter the number of licenses.
10. Set the license validity using the start date and expiry date or duration.
11. Click "Next." You will be redirected to the below screen.
13. Enter the Licence Price Value in the Box.
14. Click "Confirm Order."
15. Click the checkbox next to “Would you like to mail this information to the customer?” if you wish to send this information by mail to the school admin.
16. Click the "OK" button.
The user-based school license will be created and you can find your new license and its details on the Manage License page.
