Create a Course Structure (Table of Content)

Once the course has been created on the platform, the publisher can present the content in 3 levels of hierarchy by creating a table of content.

Follow the below steps to create the course structure (Table of Content):

1. Click "+Add Header" to add the placeholders to add the headings.

Or

Right-click and click 'Add new TOC' to add a new heading.

Note- By default, author will get a blank type template header, which can be edited/deleted.

2. You can enter the heading name in the "Add Title Here" space provided and thereafter create 2 levels hierarchy under each header.   

3. You can click on the ":"  icon on the header to view the menu and perform the following tasks:

  • Add new TOC: This will add a TOC under "Heading ".
  • Delete: Click "Delete" to delete 'Heading'.

4. You can click on the ":" icon on the new TOC added under "Heading " to view the menu and perform the following tasks:

  • Click "Move Content Outside" to move the TOC and place it as a new header in the hierarchy.
  •  Click "Delete" to delete the newly added TOC from "Heading".

Collapse All -  This feature allows you to view only the headers.

5. Click "Collapse All" to collapse all swimlanes in the TOC.

6. Click "Expand All" to view all the swimlanes in the TOC. 

7. Click "Bulk delete" to bulk delete content from the course. 

8. Click the "Select All" checkbox to delete all the content in the course or select individual artifacts that you wish to delete. 

Any artifact (content ) added in the course from the left panel, will be added in the course as a new header automatically and author can see the preview on the right panel.
