Delete District Admin

A publisher can delete a district admin from the platform. 

  • The deleted district admin's username can then be reused to roster new school/district users.
  • The district admin cannot be deleted if a license is assigned to them. The publisher will have to disassociate the district admin from the license first, in order to delete the district admin successfully.

Follow the below steps to delete the district admin:

1. Disassociate the district admin from the license.

2. Delete the district admin. 

  1. Log in to the portal.
  2.  Click "School District" on the left-hand side menu.
  3. Click "District Admin" in the sub-menu.
  4. Click on the "Delete" icon. The district admin will be deleted.

Note: A  district admin who is rostered on the portal through a third-party integrations, like OneRoster, Google Classroom, etc., cannot be deleted via the platform UI. The district admin accounts can only be deleted via the third-party integration mechanism.
