Delete District

Publisher can delete a district from the portal. The district cannot be deleted if the district has associated district admin, school admin, teacher and students. Therefore, it is mandatory to delete the users first,  in order to delete the district successfully.

Follow the below steps to delete the district:

1. Delete student  and Delete teacher

2. Delete class

4. Disassociate the school license from the school admin.

5. Delete the school admin.

6. Delete the school district license.

7. Delete the district admin.

6. Delete the school district.

Follow the below steps to delete the school district:

  1. Log in to the portal.
  2. Click "School District" on the left-hand side menu.
  3.  Click "School District List" in the sub-menu.
  4. You will be redirected to the "Manage School Districts" page. Click the "Delete" icon for the school district that you want to delete. 

Note: Districts that are rostered on the portal through a third-party integration, like One Roster, Google Classroom or LTI,etc cannot be deleted via the platform UI. These Districts can only be deleted via the third-party integration mechanism.
