Add a Class in the School within a District

In the platform, a class comprises students and teachers. Publishers and district admins can add classes in the schools within a district. 

Note:

  •  School admins can also add classes in the school with which they are associated.
  • Classes can be added even if no license has yet been assigned to the school/district. 

Follow the below steps to add a class in the school district:

1. Log in to the portal.

2. Click "Roster" on the left-hand side menu.

3. Click "Class" in the sub-menu.

4. You will be redirected to the "Manage Classes" page.  Click "Add Class."


You will be redirected to the "Add Classes" page.

 


5. Select "School" from the drop-down list. 


6. Enter "Class Name" in the space provided and click "Save." 

  •   Add more classes by clicking on "Add More."
  • Remove a class by clicking on the cross icon.

 7. Click "Save."


Helpful hints:


Follow the below instructions to enter Class Name data successfully.

  • "Class Name" can contain letters, numbers, spaces, apostrophes and some special characters. The following special characters are not allowed: " ˜  ' , ? < >
  • "Class Name" is a mandatory field.
  • "Class Name" should be unique.
  • "Class Name" cannot be greater than 50 characters.
