Assign License to a Teacher

A license can be assigned to teachers in two ways:

1. The publisher can assign the license to teachers directly, by using the "Auto Assign" feature, by checking the checkbox for "Auto Assign" during the license creation process.

2. The school/district admin can assign the license to teachers manually, using the "Assign License" workflow.

In this article, we will learn about how the school/district admin can assign licenses to teachers.

Follow the below steps to assign a license to a teacher:

1. Log in to the portal. 

2. Click "License" on the left-hand side menu.

You will be redirected to the "Manage License" page, on which you can see the list of licenses assigned to the school admin.

3. Click on the "Assign" icon in the Assign column for the license you want to assign to the teacher.


You will be redirected to the below screen.

4. Check the checkbox to select the teacher to whom you wish to assign the license.

5. Click "Assign." The license will be assigned to the teacher. 

The teacher can view the content assigned to them through the license on the "Library" page. If the license contains any content that is marked as "Available for Teachers Only," the content assigned will be visible in "Teacher Resources."

The teacher can further assign content to students.
