Theme Customization for Epub Content

 Why Theme Customization:

  1. Enhanced Branding: Clients can align their epub content with their brand identity by selecting themes that match their logo, colors, and overall aesthetic.

  3. Flexibility and Customization: The ability to choose themes provides super publishers with the freedom to experiment and tailor their content to specific audience preferences or marketing campaigns.

  4. Super Admin Control: By granting super admins the power to create new themes, the platform can ensure consistency and control over the overall visual style of the content.


This new feature empowers super publishers to enhance the visual appeal and user experience of their epub-type content by allowing them to select from a variety of pre-designed themes. Additionally, the feature grants super admins the authority to create custom themes tailored to specific branding requirements.

  1. Theme Selection: Super publishers can browse through a curated collection of themes by following these simple steps: 

On the sidebar, there is an option to manage content which redirects to the following page 

On clicking the menu icon in the card grid, the User will find an option to reupload/edit the epub content. 

On clicking this user will be redirected to a page where the user can find an option to change the theme. On confirming the change, It’ll start reflecting to all users.

  1. Theme Customization: Super admin can customize various visual elements, including:

◦  Header Height: By default, the height is 70px which can be changed while creating the theme

◦ Header Color: By default, the header color is black.

 ◦ Secondary Color: The footer, slider, and exit pop-up share a consistent color scheme

 

 ◦ Header Icons Color and Size:

◦ Footer Height: by default footer height is 48 px which can be changed to the desired height while creating theme.

◦ Footer Icon Size: 

◦ Secondary Icons Color

 ◦ Header Desktop Icons Text: The super publisher can hide or unhide the icon text. when the icon text is disabled, students can see the tooltip on hovering over the icon.

Steps for Super Admin to Create New Themes

The Super admin can follow these simple steps to create a new theme: 

Users can find an option saying Reader theme on the sidebar. On selecting this option, they’ll redirect to the “Manage Reader Theme” page.

On the Manage Theme Page, the User can click on Add Reader Theme to start creating a new theme.

  1. Theme Application: After making the desired changes, the admin can apply the theme to the epub content.

  2. View: Upon theme application by a super publisher, students can view content in the designated theme.
