The Assign Content module is a powerful tool designed to streamline the process of selecting and distributing educational content to students. It provides a centralized platform where teachers can efficiently search, filter, and allocate various types of content, ensuring that students have access to the most relevant and engaging materials.

Key Features of the Manage Content Module

 Content Search

  • Comprehensive Search: The module offers a robust search function that allows teachers to quickly find content by entering keywords, titles, authors, SKU codes, ISBNs, or descriptions.

  • Advanced Filters: The search results can be further refined using a variety of filters, including genre, Lexile level, grade, theme, DRA level, language, book type, content group, and product type. This enables teachers to precisely target content that meets specific learning objectives and student needs.

  • Content sequence: teacher users can change the content sequence by toggling between  A-Z and Z-A 

  • View favorite: on clicking the star icon, teacher users can filter the list of content which is marked as favorite. 

 Content Cards

  • Each piece of content is displayed as a card, providing a clear and concise overview of its key details. Along with an option to select or deselect the content, to add the content in favorite or to unfavorite along with the option to:

  1. View detail: 

on click of this button a modal pops up with essential information regarding the content such as expiry date, ISBN, file type along with an option to start reading. teacher users can also view the total time spent.

  1. Start now: 

By clicking this option, teachers can directly open the content in its designated format (e.g., ePub, PDF, video). This allows for a thorough preview of the content before assigning it to students or sharing it with others.

Assign Content Form

Once teacher users have chosen the content teacher users want to assign, teacher users will be presented with the option to select the classes, groups, or students teacher users want to assign.

  • Classes:

 Assign the content to entire classes. This is ideal for distributing materials to all students in a particular course.

  • Groups:

Assign the content to specific groups within a class. This is useful for differentiating instruction or targeting content to specific learning needs.

  • Individual Students: Assign the content to individual students. This option provides flexibility for personalized learning or addressing specific student needs.

After selecting teacher user's assignment destination, click the "Assign" button. This will initiate the assignment process. The system will distribute the content to the selected recipients according to teacher user's chosen destination. teacher users can also click cancel to cancel the transfer.
