Assessment Player

Students will have access to a dedicated assessment page when they login to the platform. They can navigate to the assessment page by simply clicking on the assessment icon on the homepage header. 

Students can view details of the due, missed, submitted, and graded assessments on the assessment page by clicking on the respective tabs.

The Due Assessment section will show the list of assessments that are due today. tomorrow, current week, and current month.

  • Students will see the due assessment for which teachers have set the due dates and/or time on top followed by the assessments which are assigned to the students without a due date and/or time.
  • Students can sort the test by the due date, assigned date, and title of the assessment (alphabetically). 
  • The assessment card will contain the following detail- 
  1. Due date and time (optional)
  2. Title of the assessment
  3. The number of questions count in the assessment.
  4. Assessment time as set by the teacher. (optional)
  5. Click on the 'Resume' and 'Start' buttons to view the assessment description page.

Students will see the below assessment description page. They can click on the 'Start' or 'Resume' buttons to launch the test in the assessment player.

Students will see the following information on the assessment player-

  1. Test title
  2. Current Question count/total question count 
  3. Score on the current question, Attempts remaining (optional) 
  4. Question text and options  
  5. Students can switch between Map view and List view to change the question list display on the right panel.  

Map View- This view will show the question map i.e. the count of questions with a color code that signifies if the student has attempted and submitted the question for evaluation, not attempted, attempted, and not submitted for evaluation.

  1. Orange- Question attempted but not submitted for evaluation (Flagged)
  2. Green- Question attempted and submitted for evaluation (Answered)
  3. Grey- Questions not attempted (Pending)

List View - The list view will show the text of the question in the right panel with the following information.

  1. Question number
  2. Question type 
  3. Question text
  4. Students can navigate any question in the assessment by clicking on the question number (in the map view) or  the question text (in the list view)
  5. Students can also apply filters to view the flagged, answered, and pending.
  6. Color-coded question check 
  • Orange- Question attempted but not submitted for evaluation (Flagged)
  • Green- Question attempted and submitted for evaluation (Answered)
  • Grey- Questions not attempted (Pending)

6. Students can click on the arrow button to close the right panel in the assessment player. 

7. If the check answer at the question level setting  is configured on the assessment then, students can click on 'Check Answer'. 

8. Click on 'Rules' to view the test rules as set up by the test author. This is optional feature. 

9. Click 'Mark as Flag' to save the answer as draft. 

10. Click 'Hint' to view the hints for the questions as set up by the test author. This is an optional feature. 

11. Click 'Clear' to delete the response in case of descriptive type question type.

12. Time-based assessment -  If the assessment is time-based, the students will need to submit the responses at the designated time as mentioned on the assessment description page. 

Click on 'Start assessment' to view the instruction and launch the test.

The student can view the time left on the assessment player while attempting the test.
