LTI Outbound - Create a User and Launch the Desired Resource

You can create a school license or generate an individual access code that contains the content associated with the outbound external tool. Once the license is created, users will be rostered on the MagicBox platform and assigned the content license. The user can then launch the content/dashboard on the desired inbound environment. 

For example, if the Individual teacher access code is created, then follow the below steps to redeem the access code and launch the desired content.

1. Log in to the portal.

2. Select "Licence" on the left-hand side menu.

3. Select "Manage Access Code" in the sub-menu.

You will see the below screen.

4. Click on the PO number.

You will be redirected to the "Access Code Details" page.

5. Pick one of the access codes from the Access Code List and go to the login screen of the MagicBox portal.

6. Click on the "Register Here" link on the portal.

7. Fill in the below details in the space provided. 

8. Click "Register."

After clicking "Register," the user will be redirected to the portal. Since an individual teacher access code was redeemed , the user will be redirected to the individual teacher portal from where the individual teacher can launch the external tool via the content.

To launch the external tool via content, click on the content associated with the LTI outbound tool. 

The user will be redirected to the external LMS platform. (Specific to launch URL, as mentioned in the LTI inbound tool.)
