Add Tags to an Assignment

Publishers and teachers can assign tags to an assignment when they are creating a new assignment or editing an existing one. 

This option will be available under the Assignment page, when the Tag Manager and Tag Hierarchy features are enabled for the publisher. Once the option is available, the publisher and teacher will be able to see the Tags drop-down field on the "Create Assignment" page.

Search Tags: You can search for tags by typing the name of the tag category or the tag name in the search field.

The search result will be shown in the drop-down list when you type more than 3 characters of either the Tag Category or Tag Name

• The result will show "Tag Category: Tag Name"
• Search will work on both the Tag Category and Tag Name.

When the user selects any tag from the dropdown list of the search results, the tag will be added to the list. 

Remove Tags: Once the tags are added, you can remove a tag by clicking the cross icon in front of the tag name.
