Create School Custom Login Page

The MagicBox platform provides a feature for publishers, school admin, and district admin to create a customized login page for selected schools. Through this feature, each school will have its own dedicated URL and branded login page to allow their users to log in to the Magicbox platform.
Follow the below steps to create a custom school login page.
1. Log in to the portal.
2. Click "School Setting" on the left-hand side panel.
3. Click "Custom Login Page" in the sub-menu.
You will see the below screen, from which you can create a school custom login page.
4. Select the "District" or/and "School" from the drop-down menu.
- "Select School" is a required field for publishers and district admin.
- For publishers, the drop-down will list all the schools created by the publisher.
- District admin will only see the list of schools with which they are associated.
- For school admin, the school name field will be pre-populated with the name of the school with which the school admin is mapped.
5. Enter the "School Sub-Domain Name"
- This is a required field.
- It supports alphabets and number only (no special characters are supported).
- The maximum character limit is 20 (Do not allow to type more than 20 characters).
You can view the login URL beside the "School Sub-Domain Name" field
- It presents a preview of the URL created automatically when the user enters the school's domain name.
- It is a non-editable field.
- Copy URL - provide an option to copy the URL in the clipboard.
6. Set the background image
The user will be asked to enter 4 images for users to choose from to personalize the page. These 4 images include:
- Background image 1 - Recommended resolution - W: 2048px x H:1536px
- Background Image 2 - Recommended resolution - W: 2048px x H:1536px
- Logo
- Favicons
Note - File size should not exceed 5 MB. The supported file formats include png, JPG and JPEG.
7. Show publisher’s mobile app links
A checkbox option is provided for the user to make all the app links of the publisher app visible on the bottom right of the page. If the option is checked, the icons will be visible. In case the option is unchecked, the icons will be invisible.
- The default value will be checked.
- The icons for the apps that are enabled for the tenant will only be visible and the rest of the icons will remain hidden.
8. Show publisher’s logo on the login page - A checkbox option is provided for the publisher to show or hide their logo on the login page. If the option is checked, the icons will be visible. In case the option is unchecked, the icons will be invisible.
- This option will be available for publishers only
- The default value will be checked
Note: Select the position of the publisher app links and logo on the login page by clicking on the top-left, top-right or bottom-left radio button.
9. Click "Save." The form fields will be validated and an appropriate message will be shown in case of any validation failure. In case of no error, the settings will be saved.
OR
Click "Cancel." All the changes made will be discarded and the user will be redirected to the dashboard link.
