ClassLink Integration with MagicBox

ClassLink is a third-party service that can connect district Student Information Systems (SIS) with digital learning products. ClassLink allows Single Sign-On (SSO) access to digital learning products and creates roster files that can then be transferred to eLearning products. 

MagicBox's integration with ClassLink using OneRoster 1.1 provides the following services: 

Roster creation: ClassLink synchronizes with the district SIS and allows administrators to filter roster data to be sent to MagicBox. Users can be rostered on MagicBox via the OneRoster API Sync method. Here, the ClassLink URL, Consumer Key and Secret Keys will be used in the OneRoster API sync. 

Single Sign-On: Once a student or teacher has logged in to ClassLink, they can automatically access MagicBox, without any additional login.

Once data is synced on MagicBox, users can access MagicBox from the ClassLink Launch icon. After clicking on the "Login with ClassLink" icon on the login page, the user is automatically logged in to MagicBox, without the need to provide authentication credentials (username and password) again.

Please note: ClassLink cannot be used for SSO without user rostering.
