Google Classroom Integration with MagicBox

Google Classroom is a widely used educational service that is free for teachers and students. Google Classroom is designed to help teachers effectively create classes, distribute assignments, manage document sharing, provide feedback to students, and manage all their classes in one place.
MagicBox Online Portals are now fully integrated with Google Classroom. This integration will streamline the process of importing students, teachers and classes to MagicBox Portals. MagicBox and Google Classroom, as a combined solution, makes it very convenient for students to see assigned content from teachers as well as their reading materials on a single screen.
- Google Classroom is integrated with MagicBox to provide access to eBooks with everything accessible on one platform, thereby giving complete control over the digital classroom. This allows teachers and students using Google Classroom at school or those who have a Google Classroom account to leverage various features of the MagicBox portal.
- Integrating Google Classroom with MagicBox allows teachers and students to access MagicBox through Single Sign-On, i.e., using their school-provided Google email ID.
- The publisher, admin and teacher can access the Google sync dashboard and see the last sync status, sync expiration date and detailed error information, which can help identify data loss/sync issues.
- Admin and teachers can sync data for only those classes that they have selected.
- Google Classroom class meta-data (title, room and section) have been added to the portal to help teachers easily identify duplicate class titles by room and section names.
Other Notable Features:
1. Admin or Teachers can now log in with their Google account only once from the main login screen. (This is with respect to change from GC 1.0 to 2.0. In GC 1.0, teachers needed to log in twice during the process - once during actual log in and then a second time on the GC page. Now with GC 2.0, they just have to log in once.)
2. Teachers can now login and sync GC classes directly, without waiting for the admin to initiate the sync, unlike the previous GC 1.0 implementation.
3. Admin or teachers now have the ability to choose and sync GC classes. In the previous GC workflow, all classes were synced by default.
