Assign Tag with Question

The publisher can add tags to a question during question creation or question editing.

Prerequisites to add tags to a question.

1. Create category.

2. Create tags in the category.

Follow the below steps to assign tags to the question during question creation:

  1. Log in to the portal.
  2. Click “Assessment” on the left-hand side menu.
  3. Click “Questions” in the sub-menu. 

You will be redirected to the “Questions” page. Here, you can view the list of questions that are already created.

4. Click “New Question” to add a new question. 

  1. Select any question type from the question menu. For example, here, we are selecting  “Single Choice” type question from the "Question Type" menu.


 

You will be redirected to the “ Single Choice Question” page.


   


6. Enter the question text and the choices in the space provided, with the help of the Wysiwyg Editor. Refer to Create Single Choice Type Question for detailed instruction on question authoring.

7. Click on the “Setting” icon.

You will see a setting pop up on the screen as shown in the below screenshot.

 8You can set meaningful tags with each question. Search for a tag from the search box or click “Browse.” 

  • Search results will be shown on typing 3 characters or more. The matching result will show as a dropdown list, from where the user can select the relevant tags.

     

   9. You will see the below "Add_tag" pop up if you click on “Browse.”


           


10. Select a category from the dropdown list. 

11. Check the "Tags" checkbox in the "Tag Description" box. 

12. Click “Save.” 

Added tags will be shown on the bottom of the Search tags, wherein the publisher can remove the selected tags by clicking on the cross icon.
