Edit Category and Tag

The publisher can edit the category and tags within the categories, using the Edit Tag feature. 

Follow the below steps to Edit Category.

1. Log in to the portal.

2. Click "Setting" on the left-hand side panel.

3. Click "Tag Manager" in the sub-menu. 

You will see the below screen. The category list is shown on the left-hand side panel. The tags in each of the selected categories are populated on the right-hand side of the Tag Manager screen. 

4. Select the category you want to edit from the left-hand side panel.

5. Click on the “:” icon for the category to view the 3 options

  • View - Click "View." It will show the category details in the additional pop-up.
  • Edit - Click "Edit." It will show the category details to allow the publisher to make the changes.
  • Delete - Click "Delete" to delete the category. You cannot delete a category if one or multiple tags within the category are associated with an assessment/content/assignment. Disassociate the tag with the assessment/content/assignment in order to delete the category.

Follow the below steps to edit a tag within a category.

1. Log in to the portal.

2. Click "Setting" on the left-hand side panel.

3. Click "Tag Manager" in the sub-menu. 

You will see the below screen. The category list is shown on the left-hand side panel. The tags in each of the selected categories are populated on the right-hand side of the Tag Manager screen. 

4. Select a category from the left-hand side panel in which you wish to edit the tags.

5. Click on the “:” icon for the tag to view the 3 options:

  • View - Click "View." It will show the category details in the additional pop-up.
  • Edit - Click "Edit." It will show the category details to allow the publisher to make the changes.
  • Delete - Click "Delete" to delete the tag. You cannot delete the tag if it is associated with an assessment/content/assignment. Disassociate the tag with the assessment/content/assignment in order to delete the category.
