Add Category

Tag Manager is a feature that allows the publisher to assign free-flowing and meaningful information to the assessment and questions within the platform. With the help of Tag Manager, publishers can create and structure categories and tags within a category on the portal.

Follow the below steps to add a category.

1. Log in to the portal.

2. Click "Setting" on the left-hand side panel.

3. Click "Tag Manager" in the sub-menu. 

You will see the below screen. The category list is shown on the left-hand side panel. The tags in each of the selected categories are populated on the right-hand side of the Tag Manager screen.

4. Click "Add Category" to add a new category. 

You will see the below add category pop up on the screen.

5. Enter the category name in the space provided. (Category name is a mandatory field with a maximum length of 50 characters.)

6. Enter the category description in the space provided. (Category description is an optional field with a maximum length of 200 characters.)

7. Check the "Assessment" checkbox to allow the tags and category visibility for assessments, i.e., question/assessment tagging can be done using the tags available in the category if "Assessment" is checked. 

8. Click "Save." 

The category will be created and added to the category list. The publisher can now add tags in the category.
