Assign Standard Test

Publishers and teachers can assign standard tests to the school/district and students, respectively.
1. Publishers can create an assessment and publish it as the content. This assessment can be added in a school/district license.
2. Publishers can embed assessments in the book through the authoring tool. Any school/district user who has a valid license of the book can access the in-book assessment.
3. Teachers can assign the test directly to the classes and groups through the following steps:
1. Log in to the portal.
2. Click “Assessment” on the left-hand side menu.
3. Click “Standard Test” in the sub-menu.
You will be redirected to the “Standard Test” page.
4. Click on the hamburger menu on the question thumbnail.
5.Select the test, which you want to assign by clicking on the thumbnail or click on the assign icon on the test thumbnail to assign the test.
5. You will see the below pop up, if you the test is being assigned for the first time-
6. Teachers will select the class and/ or groups to whom they wish to assign the test.
7. Select the available date and time- If available date and time is selected then the test will be assigned to the class/group on the mentioned date and time.
8. Select due date and time- If due date and time is selected then the test will only be available for attempting on the selected date and time.
9. Check Available after the due date checkbox to enable assessment for attempt even after the due date.
10. Click ‘Save’ to assign the test to classes/groups.
Note: If new students have joined the class/group after the teacher has assigned the test (through the "Assign to Class(es)" or "Assign to Group(s) option), the previously assigned test will be automatically assigned to the new students.
