The platform supports multiple roles in the system with on-the-fly permission customizations for each role, using the platform's super admin portal. Below are some of the roles supported by the platform:

Super Publisher - The Super Publisher is the main administrator account. This can be used to manage content and all other user types, as mentioned below. Licensing, content distribution, content access management, can all be handled through this role.

Publisher - The Publisher can create and assign content, manage licenses, manage schools, districts, admins and students. The difference between this and the Super Publisher account is that the latter can see and assign content published by the Publishers.

Admin - Admins are in charge of managing content distribution to schools and teachers. They have access to the relevant reports about school/teacher usage of the content.

  • School Purchases

Teacher - Teachers can manage the assignment of content, students, classes, and develop homework/assignments for students. This license also allows the user to check assessment results, provide feedback, interact with students on the platform, and carry out all current classroom activities.

Student - Library, assessments, and homework are the main modules students can access. Students can also collaborate with each other, take tests, review feedback, and access all content assigned to them.

  • Institutional/Individual Purchases

Individual Teacher - This license type is used for B2C sales to teachers via the access code. This could be used for teachers who are not linked to schools but still want to buy content and access the publisher's titles.

Individual User - This license type is used for B2C sales to students via the access code. This user type is used for parents/students who are not linked to schools but want to buy and access the publisher's content.

  • Other Roles

Report Viewer - This user will only have access to reports and analytics. The details of this access can be managed by the Super Publisher.

Customer Representative - This user can help set up licenses on behalf of the Publisher.

Content Author - This user can be subject matter experts and authors who can build content on the platform.

Parent - Parents can be provided a single login for all their children. They can view assessment results, content usage, and login history for their children.

eCom User - This user type is used for B2C sales to parents or students or any user who wants to buy content from the eCommerce store. They will only have access to titles on the library that they have purchased.
