Add Video in the Content

The content authoring tool allows publishers to add video hotspots within the content. 

Follow the below steps to add a video:

1. Launch the content.

2. Click the "Author" icon on the left-hand side menu.

3. Click anywhere on the content where you want to add the test hotspot.

4. You will see an "Add Resource" pop-up, as shown in the below screenshot.

5. Click "Video." 

6. You will see an "Upload Video" pop up on the screen. 

• You can either upload a new video by clicking on "Upload a Video."

OR

• Select a video from the video gallery by clicking on "Uploaded Video."
• Any new video is automatically saved in the video gallery.

7. If you click on Uploaded Video, you will see an "Uploaded Video Gallery" pop-up on the screen.

• Select the video by clicking on the thumbnail. 
• Click the tick icon on the pop-up to confirm.

9. You will see a video pop up on the screen.

• Click on (a) icon to go back to upload a new video.
• Click on (b) icon to go back to the uploaded video gallery.
• Add the title and a caption for the video. (The title field is mandatory.)
• Click on the "Visible Only to Teachers" radio button, if you want this video to be visible to teachers only. Students will not see this video hotspot on the eBook.
• Click the tick icon.

The video hotspot will be added on the page.

• If you want to delete the hotspot, click on the video hotspot.
• You will see the Video pop-up. click the Delete icon.
