Content Authoring

The MagicBox platform allows publishers to enrich and revamp various curricula and make it more interactive using smart hotspots, where they can add interactive elements like audio, videos, external links, assessments, and much more. This tool doesn’t allow augmenting the content to add on-page interactivities/animations.

By using the content authoring tool, you can simply embed supplemental resources, like lesson plans, references, etc., within the content, using the MagicBox authoring tool and check the "Available Only for Teachers" option. These supplemental resources will be available only for teachers and not visible to students. Therefore you will not need to maintain two versions of the content.

Steps to add resources in the content: 

1. Launch the content

2. Click on the "Author" icon on the left-hand side menu. 

3. You will see an "Add Resource" pop up on the screen, from which you can select and add the resource in the content. You can add ten different types of resources as listed below:

2. Question
3. Recording
4. Text
5. Photo
6. Audio
7. Video
8. Document
9. Web link
10. Product link
