Archive Content

The publisher can archive published content on the MagicBox platform. The archived content will be soft-deleted from the "Library" and "Manage Content" page and will be moved to the "Archived Content" page. 

  • The archived content can be "Unarchived." The unarchived content will be moved back to the Library.
  • The archived content will not be visible on the content list dashboard during the license creation process, i.e., archived content cannot be added to the license.
  • If the content is already associated with a license and the publisher archives the content, the content will continue to be accessible to the users until the license expires. For publishers, the archived content will be removed from the "Library" and "Manage Content" page and will be moved to the "Archived content" page.


Follow the below steps to archive the content

  1. Log in to the portal.

  2. Click "Manage Content" on the left-hand side menu.

    You will see the below screen


3. Click the "Hamburger" icon for the content that you wish to archive.



  1. Click "Archive" in the hamburger menu. 

  2. You will receive a confirmation message. Click  "Yes" to archive the content.

 

The content will be removed from the "Library" and the "Manage Content" page and moved to the "Archived Content" page.

Follow the below steps to unarchive the content.

  1. Log in to the portal. 

  2. Click "Manage Content" on the left-hand side menu.

   You will see the below screen

    3. Click "Archived Content."

You will be redirected to the "Archived Content" page. 

4. Click "Unarchive" to unarchive the content.
